Not sure exactly how much weight you can put on it, but it is very sturdy. I know you can put a 44 quart cooler with drinks and ice. Probably weighing about 40 lbs.

I would think so, yes. The slats are aluminum.

Needed a relatively small, collapsible table for use with our RV.
This fit the bill perfectly.
The design is very well thought out. I like the two pieces. The table is easy to assemble. It is a table that is useable in outside conditions. It is tall enough to eat at or use as a buffet. It is a great surface for a portable grill and still have an area for prep space.
I bought this table for car camping. It is well made, and I expect it to last a long time. The table has some weight to it, and it has a sturdy base, so it won't tip over easily if bumped. Four adults could easily use the table for eating meals.
The table assembles and disassembles very easily. Size of the table when it is assembled works very well on campsites especially if you have multiple people yet it folds down very compactly to store away in the vehicle. Very sturdy and easy to clean.
