This chair does support higher weight. That’s why I bought it. Not sure the exact weight specs.

Love this chair for my childs hockey games/practices. Due to uncomfortable seating at the rink purchased this chair. And man do I love it. Great buy.
I use it at my art booth, and its quite comfortable to sit in at length. The folding foot rest is well-designed with no sharp edges. my only nit-pick is that the bottom netting is light-weight and doesnt support much more than a pound or two. Anything heavier than that, and the velcro will come loose. Overall, comfortable, super handy, folds up nicely!
Needs sturdier build and bigger feet on legs so it doesnt sink in soft ground
This chair was perfect for my husband whos 62 and 350lbs it sits up high and its steady. He loved it
I bought this for my Dad who's 6'-1"" tall and is having problems with his legs. Regular folding chairs sit to low and are hard for him to get up from. I remember seeing tall director chairs in movies and wondered if some were actually made for sale to public.
After much research I found this group and their chairs. The chairs are actually rated for weight and are much wider than the other chairs I saw. I ordered this for Father's day and my Dad loves it. Mom wants one as well now but I'll order the shorter version for her.
